Chris has been working with Amazonian plant medicines for the past 12 years and is currently apprenticing in the Peruvian Amazon under the guidance of Maestro Ricardo Amaringo. His passion and experience include 15 years of dedication to addiction and compulsion through 12 step recovery, hospice and supporting end of life transition. Chris is a life long learner dedicated to deepening his understanding with a variety of ongoing studies of trauma support and recovery.

After graduating he set up his own business and worked in collaboration with doctors helping patients find the root cause. Most recently Mario spent two and a half years in the Peruvian Amazon to expand his range of knowledge. First he managed Centro Espiritual Nihue Rao before immersing himself fully in the study of plant medicine under the guidance of Master Shaman Ricardo Amaringo. Mario is passionate about learning and teaching the Shipibo language.
